About Karyne Integrated Services
Karyne Sylvestre-Pompilus is a licensed financial educator, college-planner, healthcare marketing consultant and retirement specialist with a vast knowledge and huge passion for human services. Karyne has a lifelong love for service and acquiring knowledge.
A native of Haiti; Karyne immigrated to the United States in the year 2000. She holds Bachelors’ degrees in Journalism and Marketing, Social, Political Sciences and International Relations. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with her specialization in Global Management, she has completed all the required classes for her doctoral studies in Human Services Administration and Organizational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University.
To help young students more specially Haitian descents with behavioral and educational issues, fill the generational gap between and connect the Haitian diaspora with their mainland in 2004, Karyne founded a non-profit organization; Actions For Better Future, Inc. and to educate senior citizens about constant changes in the healthcare industry and assist in fulfilling the general public financial and retirement’ s needs she established Karyne’s Integrated Services.
Karyne has always been involved in civic matters. In 1995, she served as a Regional Director for the International Organization for Migration, in Haiti; where she oversaw local efforts to advise and provide financial support to migrants and to such relevant governmental agencies. In support of Governor Rick Scott’s vision to provide more affordable housing to Broward County residents, in 2016, she was appointed by the Governor to the Broward County Housing Authority Commission. As a Commissioner, she has been elected by her colleagues as the Treasurer for four years in the row where she oversees the agency’s budget. Karyne helps to increase access to affordable housing for all Broward County residents. In mid of this 2020 year, she has been elected by the Board of the Housing Authority as Secretary where she is helping to affordable housing availability realistic for Broward county residents.
